Tracking signing requests

Open Signing from the app switcher (the logo at the top left), or the Signing tab in Teams.

Tab Shows
Sent by me Requests you sent.
Waiting for me Requests where you’re a signer, matched by your account or email address.
All in organization Every request in your organization. Tenant Owners only.

Search by document title. Each row shows the status, how many signers have signed, and when it was sent.

Status Meaning
Out for signature Waiting for one or more signers.
Completed Everyone has signed; the signed PDF is ready.
Declined A signer declined, which stopped the request.
Canceled The sender (or an owner) canceled it.
Expired The expiry date passed before everyone signed.

Open a request to see:

  • Recipients with their status: Waiting for turn, Invited, Viewed, Signed (with the time) or Declined (with the reason). In-order requests also show each signer’s number.
  • The message you sent, the Envelope ID, the Original SHA-256, the Signed SHA-256 once completed, and the expiry date while it’s open.
  • History: every event for this request from the activity log (sent, viewed, signed, reminded, completed, downloaded and so on).

Actions, depending on the status and who you are:
